Bonnie Gerner then spoke on her recent trip to Guatemala as a church mission trip. The city was very primitive with over 8 million people basically living on top of each other with very little running water and no hot water and very few public rest room facilities and there is not any type of sewer system. She slept on a fourth floor rooftop, steps the only way to access it. Everyone has dogs that run at large and roosters and there is always barking and crowing at all hours so rest was little. They worked hard helping children in the schools, their days were very long. She stated that we need to be very thankful for what we have here in the United States and appreciate the basics.
Closing prayer was given by Taylor Behnke, Green County Dairy Queen.
MOTION to adjourn (Judy Gill/ Rachel Shrader), approved, 8:55 PM.
Candee J. Christen, Secretary
