No Board Meeting at 7:30 PM
Board Members in Attendance: President, Craig Kamholz; Treasurer, Pam Burke; Bonnie Gerner, Wayne Monte and Joe Schwarzenberger
The meeting was called to order by President Kamholz.
The opening prayer was given by Nicole Baebler,-Monticello Dairy Queen.
Secretary’s report: March 25, 2013 meeting minutes were approved by consensual voice vote.
Treasurer’s Report: Pam Burke reported the checking account balance as of May 13 - $22,472.81. A motion to approve the treasurer’s report was made by Alyssa Cramer-Juda Queen and seconded by Ally Carter-Argyle Queen. Motion carried. See Attached May 13, 2013 Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Sheet from April 1 through May 13, 2013.
Queens Reports: Alyssa Cramer-Juda, Nicole Baebler- Monticello, Danielle Schneider- Monroe, Alexandra Ihm-Blanchardville, Ally Carter-Argyle, April Buri- Browntown, Whitney Brown-Belleville, Clare Gietzel-Green County Princess, Natalie Hall-Brooklyn, Taylor Behnke-Green County Queen, and Samantha Roth-Albany. No Alyssa Bailey-Brodhead.
Community Queen Candidates introduced themselves.
Past Dairy Queens introduced themselves.
County Queens’ Chairperson Report by Pam Burke:
Sunday, May 19 will be the 2013-2014 Queen judging
Upcoming Queens Activities: painting cows for BOTF, Monroe Flea Market, and Yester-year Parade at Albany
Breakfast on the Farm updates: Judy Gill and Sue Hellenbrand reported things are going good from the shuttle buses to the coffee cake donations to the workers and clean-up. Next meeting for BOTF is Tuesday night, May 14.
Dairy Days Update: Pam Burke reported Friday, June 14 will be the Queens Interview day; Saturday, June 15 is the Cattle Show at the Green County Fair Grounds; Saturday evening, the Queens Banquet. Moo tails will start at 7 PM, the Big Question at 7:30 PM and dinner at 8 PM. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Sunday will be the crowning after the parade.
Scholarship recipients present were Lucas Koch and Brianne Katzenberger. Not present were Lydia Russell and Taylor Klemm.
Judy Gill led the discussion for a better billboard site for next year. Ag Chest should consider putting money down to hold the preferred billboard site.
Anita and Pam Lawver asked for a donation for the Relay for Life breakfast on June 22 in Brodhead. A motion to donate leftover sausage from the Breakfast on the Farm was made by Wayne Monte and seconded by July Gill. Motion carried.
President Craig Kamholz thanked this year’s Queens for a fine job.

Motion to adjourn was made by April Buri-Browntown Queen and seconded by Alexander Ihm-Blanchardville Queen. Motion carried.
