Board met at 6:00 PM for Breakfast on the Farm wrap-up and 7 PM for Dairy Days wrap-up.
Board Members in Attendance: President, Craig Kamholz; Vice-President, Jeff Ditzenberger; Secretary, Sue Rieder; Treasurer, Pam Burke; Judy Gill, Bonnie Gerner, and Julene Elmer
The regular meeting of the Green County Ag Chest was called to order by President Kamholz at 8:07 PM.
The opening prayer was given by Kelsey Cramer-Green County Dairy Queen.
Secretary’s report: May 12, 2014 meeting minutes were read by Sue Rieder. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Alyssa Cramer. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Pam Burke presented printed copies of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Sheet from May 12 through July 7, 2014. A motion to approve the treasurer’s report was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Rachel Hellenbrand. Motion carried.
Queens present were: Kelsey Cramer -Green County Dairy Queen; Haley Reeson-Green County Dairy Princess; Sayde McDermott-Albany Dairy Queen; Kyleah McKnight-Belleville Dairy Queen; Cheyanna Becherer- Brodhead Dairy Queen; Alizabeth Grady-Brooklyn Dairy Queen; Amanda McDermott-Browntown; Crista Hale-Juda Dairy Queen; Emma Peterson-Monroe; and Kallista Baebler-Monticello Dairy Queen.
Past Dairy Queens introduced themselves.
County Queens’ Chairperson Report was given by Pam Burke.
Correspondences and Announcements: Many Thank You notes from past and present Dairy Queens; from Green County Farm Bureau Essay contest winners; from the Roe Family; from recipients of Green County Dairy Day t-shirts and premiums; from Cows on the Concourse; from scholarship recipients; from the Monticello Fire department and from the Family of Keri L. Evert were read by Sue Rieder.
Breakfast on the Farm Committee: Sue Hellenbrand and July Gill reported the attendance for the 2014 BOTF was about 4,300, an average crowd. Food cost was up by $1800 and tent rental was up by $1100. BOTF profit $11,339.
Green County Dairy Days: Sue Rieder reported Brooklyn did an enthusiastic job hosting Dairy Days. It was a great weekend, nice parade and everyone was very creative and worked together when it came to the crowning event.
No old business motions were brought before the board.
Announcements and discussions:
Bonnie Gerner is requesting volunteers to work the Ag Chest Trailer over Green County Fair and Boone County Fair. Bonnie would like the Queens and their parents to work during the day at Green County Fair, so volunteers are needed for the 8 PM to close shifts. Because the Wisconsin State Fair and Boone County Fair overlap; and the Queens are involved with the State Fair, volunteers are needed for all shifts at the Boone County Fair.
Jeff Ditzenberger states the Farm Bureau Annual Meeting is September 9.
No new business motions were brought before the board.

A motion to adjourn was made Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Judy Gill. Motion carried.
