Place: Turner Hall, 1217 17th Ave, Monroe, WI 53566
Board met at 7:30 PM. Board of members met with Ann Wanless and Susan McCallum, members of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce to discuss Dairy Days in Brooklyn.
Board Members in Attendance: President, Craig Kamholz; Vice-President, Jeff Ditzenberger; Secretary, Sue Rieder; Treasurer, Pam Burke; Judy Gill, Bonnie Gerner, and Sue Hellenbrand and Wayne Monte.
The regular meeting of the Green County Ag Chest was called to order by President Kamholz.
The opening prayer was given by Sandy Trumpy-Monticello Dairy Queen.
Secretary’s report: February 24, 2014 meeting minutes were read by Sue Rieder. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Sue Hellenbrand. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Pam Burke presented printed copies of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Sheet from February 24 through March 17, 2014. A motion to approve the treasurer’s report was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Bonnie Gerner. Motion carried.
Queens present were: Mariah Martin -Green County Queen; Allison Granberg-Argyle; Rachel Elsing-Belleville; Molly Hendrickson-Blanchardville; Santana Green-Browntown; Camilla Klar-Juda; Whitney Disch-Monroe; Sandy Trumpy-Monticello; and Noelle Austin-New Glarus.
Queens participated in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade around the Square in Monroe. Bowling and pizza after the parade at Turner Hall.
Past Dairy Queens introduced themselves.
County Queens’ Chairperson Report was given by Pam Burke.
Upcoming Queens Activities: April 6 will be the group photo.
Queen candidates are encouraged attend the May 12 Ag Chest Meeting. Judging is planned for May 17.
Correspondences and Announcements: Green County Ag Chest Scholarship updated and posted on website. Applications due April 1. Ag Chest members will review applications on April 7 at Bonnie Gerner’s. Winners will be announced at Appreciation Banquet on April 12.
No old business motions were brought before the board.
Announcements and discussions:
The Breakfast on the Farm Committee will meet March 24 at Roe Farms Partnership.
Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and Ag Chest members met before the regular meeting. June 20 will be judging for Green County Dairy Queen and Princess. June 21 will be the cattle show in Monroe and the Queens Banquet that night at the Brooklyn Community Center. Sunday, June 21 will be the parade and crowning afterwards.
No new business motions were brought before the board.

A motion to adjourn was made Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Noelle Austin. Motion carried.
