October 27, 2014 Meeting Minutes

Board met at 7:40 PM.
Board Members in Attendance: President, Craig Kamholz; Vice-President, Jeff Ditzenberger; Secretary, Sue Rieder; Treasurer, Pam Burke; Judy Gill, Bonnie Gerner, and Julene Elmer.
A re-issued check from Woodford State bank was discussed. Double payment to the Harvest Center for cleaning the trailer was discussed. Per Andrew McNaught, they will cash just one check. Green County Fair Board proposal for a building on the fairgrounds was discussed.
The regular meeting of the Green County Ag Chest was called to order by President Kamholz at 8:10 PM. Wayne Monte was also present.
No Opening prayer. No Queens.
Secretary’s report: Printed copies of the September 29, 2014 meeting minutes were made available by Sue Rieder. Agenda and minutes can also be found on the website. Minutes approved by consensus.
Treasurer’s Report: Pam Burke presented printed copies of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Sheet for October 1 through October 27. Printed copies of the October 27 balance sheet were also presented. No Queens were present.
No Past Dairy Queens introduced themselves.
County Queens’ Chairperson Report was given by Pam Burke.
Payments to Cheese Days, Boone County Fair and Wayne Monte were approved.
A motion to decline the June 2015 Swiss Singer Alliance Breakfast was made by Bonnie Gerner and seconded by Jeff Ditzenberger. Motion carried.
No old business motions were brought before the board.
Announcements and discussions:
Craig Kamholz reported Arlyn Zee will no longer do the aerial pictures of the Breakfast on the Farm location.
The Board expressed thanks to Marvin Becker for his many years of work for the Breakfast on the Farm and hope it continues after his retirement from Colony Brands.
No new business motions were brought before the board.
Other items brought forth by the members:
Thank you cards from the Brodhead FFA and Ryan Smith and letter from the Albany FFA Alumni and the Green County Land and Water Conservation Department& Green County Natural Resources Conservation Services were shared with the members present.
Offices and officers up for elections this November are Vice-President, Jeff Ditzenberger, Treasurer, Pam Burke and Board Member, Bonnie Gerner.
Board Members discussed how to get more people involved with the Green County Ag Chest.

A motion to adjourn was made Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Judy Gill. Motion carried.
