The Board met at 7:30 PM. Members in Attendance: President, Craig Kamholz; Vice-President, Jeff Ditzenberger; Secretary, Sue Rieder; Treasurer, Pam Burke; Judy Gill, and Bonnie Gerner.
Discussion items: The specs and the cost of the people haulers were discussed.
The regular meeting of the Green County Ag Chest was called to order by President Kamholz at 8:05PM.
The opening prayer: Emma Peterson – Monroe Dairy Queen
Secretary’s report: Sue Rieder presented printed copies of the March 30, 2015 meeting minutes. A motion to accept the minutes with correction was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Haley Reeson - Green County Princess. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Pam Burke presented printed copies of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Sheet from March 31 through April 27 2015. A motion to approve the treasurer’s report was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Emma Peterson – Monroe Dairy Queen. Motion carried.
Queens present were Haley Reeson-Green County Dairy Princess, Sayde McDermott-Albany Dairy Queen, Jenna Langmeier-Argyle Dairy Queen, Kyleah McKnight-Belleville Dairy Queen, Cheyanna Becherer-Brodhead Dairy Queen, Liz Grady–Brooklyn Dairy Queen, Crista Hale-Juda Dairy Queen, Emma Peterson-Monroe Dairy Queen, Kallista Baebler-Monticello Dairy Queen and Rebecca Barr-New Glarus Dairy Queen.
Community Dairy Queen candidates introduced themselves. Past Queens introduced themselves.
County Queens’ Chairperson Report was given by Pam Burke. Community Dairy Queen Chairpersons meeting was Sunday, April 26. May 16 from noon to 5 PM will community queens judging. Pam Burke had printed copies of the Community Crownings.
Correspondences and Announcements: None
Announcements and discussions: Pecatonica FFA advisor and member stated the soil judging team was going to Nationals in Oklahoma.
A motion to give $500 to the Pecatonica FFA towards their trip to Oklahoma was made by Bonne Gerner and seconded by Jeff Ditzenberger. Motion carried.
Sue Hellenbrand gave an update on the BOTF. The farm and queens pictures are done. Donations are coming in. Volunteers and coffee cakes discussed. Two people haulers are being made for BOTF.
Julene Elmer and Judy Gill gave updates on Dairy Days in Albany. The cattle show will be at the Green County Fairgrounds on June 20. The following Saturday, will be the Queens’ Brunch with the “Big Question,” an afternoon parade and crowning of the Green County Dairy Queen and Green County Dairy Princess at the Library Park after the parade.
8 out of the 12 scholarship winners were present at the meeting. A group picture will be taken at the BOTF. The Board was pleased to announce that $5000 was given out in scholarship money this year.
The May 11 Green County Ag Chest meeting will be at Peppercorn Banquets and Catering, LLC, 1417 Mansion Drive, Monroe, starting at 7:30 PM. Queens and candidates are to be at the meeting. Pizza and dessert will be provided.

A motion to adjourn was made Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Rebecca Barr – New Glarus Dairy Queen. Motion carried.
