March 30 2015 Meeting Minutes

Place: Suisse Haus, 1602 12th St, Monroe, WI 53566
Members in Attendance: President, Craig Kamholz; Vice-President, Jeff Ditzenberger; Secretary, Sue Rieder; Treasurer, Pam Burke; Judy Gill, and Bonnie Gerner.
The regular meeting of the Green County Ag Chest was called to order by President Kamholz at 6:40 PM.
The opening prayer: No Queens present
Secretary’s report: Sue Rieder presented printed copies of the February 23 2015 meeting minutes. A motion was made to amend the February minutes to read, Bonnie Gerner will be a signer on the Green County Ag Chest account along with being a debit card holder was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Pam Burke. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Pam Burke presented printed copies of the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Sheet from February 27 through March 30 2015. A motion to approve the treasurer’s report was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Judy Gill. Motion carried.
No Queens were present
No Past Dairy Queen introduced themselves
County Queens’ Chairperson Report was given by Pam Burke.
Upcoming Queens Activities: Business after 5 at SLICE and April 26 Angels Among Us.
Chairperson meeting is April 26 4 PM at Pizza Hut.
Queens Group picture planned for April 19.
Correspondences and Announcements: Scholarship meeting April 14 7 PM at Bonnie Gerner’s. Pam Burke reported Ag Chest Ag bill board by Blue Ox plans to be up by May 15. Judy Gill reported the Dairy Day Cattle Show will be June 20. Cattle show is open to 4-H and FFA members in Green County. Premiums were discussed. The Dairy Day Festivities will be June 27 with a Brunch starting with Moo-tails at 9 AM, the Big Question at 9:30 and Brunch to follow. Parade will be 1:30 PM with crowning following the parade.
Announcements and discussions: Craig Kamholz showed pictures of possible people haulers.
A motion to have Green County Ag Chest bags to hand out at the BOTF Educational Tent was made by Bonne Gerner and seconded by Jeff Ditzenberger. Motion carried. Pam Burke plans to have a Green County Ag Chest pamphlet made up before the BOTF.
BOTF donations are coming in. Colony Brands has donated $1000 towards the entertainment. Pork Producers have donated $500 to buy hogs. Purchasing good white tables discussed; possibly need about 20 tables. Bonnie Gerner reported the Monroe Baseball team will volunteer for the clean-up shift. They will eat first and then start at 11 AM.
There will be no Appreciation Dinner and no Pot Luck at April 27 Ag Chest Meeting.

A motion to adjourn was made Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Judy Gill. Motion carried.
