The Board met at 7:00 PM. Members in Attendance: President, Craig Kamholz; Vice-President, Jeff Ditzenberger; Secretary, Sue Rieder; Treasurer, Pam Burke; Judy Gill, and Bonnie Gerner.
Discussion items: The need for 5 gallon food grade buckets for egg cracking was discussed. Wayne Monte will be contacting the tent company. Farm Progress Days has asked to borrow the people movers. The board wants to move forward with selling Green County Plat books.
The regular meeting of the Green County Ag Chest was called to order by President Kamholz at 8:05PM.
The opening prayer: Kelsey Cramer– Green County Dairy Queen
Secretary’s report: Sue Rieder presented printed copies of the April 27, 2015 meeting minutes. A motion to accept the minutes with correction was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Emma Peterson – Monroe Dairy Queen. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report: Pam Burke reported the treasurer’s report is the same as last month. “No checks in the last 2 weeks. A motion to approve the treasurer’s report was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Judy Gill. Motion carried.
Past Queens introduced themselves.
Queens present were Kelsey Cramer-Green County Dairy Queen, Haley Reeson-Green County Dairy Princess, Sayde McDermott-Albany Dairy Queen, Kyleah McKnight-Belleville Dairy Queen, Ashley Shilling-Blanchardville Dairy Queen, Cheyanna Becherer-Brodhead Dairy Queen, Amanda McDermott-Browntown Dairy Queen, Emma Peterson-Monroe Dairy Queen, Kallista Baebler-Monticello Dairy Queen and Rebecca Barr-New Glarus Dairy Queen.
Community Dairy Queen candidates introduced themselves.
County Queens’ Chairperson Report was given by Pam Burke. Upcoming events include Kids Express, BOTF and community queen judging.
Scholarship recipients present were Toni Gerner, Brad Grebner, Molly Hendrickson, Allison Granberg and Kyleah McKnight. This year’s scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend the Green County Breakfast on the Farm. They will be acknowledged during the 8 AM program and a group photo will be taken.
Correspondences and Announcements: None
Announcements and discussions: Sue Hellenbrand reminded members BOTF meeting May 12 at 7 PM. Donations are coming in. Judy Gill asked for volunteers for cracking 88 cases of eggs. BOTF committee will be making arrangements with Swiss Colony for when and where. The committee is asking for clean ice cream buckets and 5 gallon food grad pails with lids.
Emma Peterson-Monroe Dairy Queen will ask Monroe FFA members to help with loading up tables, etc. the week before the BOTF. Monroe FFA meeting is tomorrow night. Monticello FFA and New Glarus FFA will help with set up the day before the BOTF.
Judy Gill gave updates on Dairy Days in Albany. Letters have been sent out and donations are coming in.
Craig Kamholz reported Green County Plat books will be sold out of the Rural Insurance Office. Price is $35. Profits will go towards the Green County Ag Chest.

A motion to adjourn was made Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Sue Hellenbrand. Motion carried.
