October 2015 Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Board members in attendance were President Craig Kamholz, Vice President Jeff Ditzenberger, Treasurer Pam Burke, Julene Elmer, Bonnie Gerner, and Judy Gill.
Secretary’s Report: Members in attendance were directed to the website for the August 3, 2015 meeting minutes.
Treasurer’s Report: Pam Burke presented printed copies of the September 1 through October 26, 2015 profit and loss sheet and printed copies of the balance sheet as of October 26, 2015.
Five Past Queens introduced themselves.
No Queens present /Board of Director meeting/no regular meeting
Jeff Mahlkuch and six 4-H Dairy Project kids were present to say thank you for the money to help with transportation to the Wisconsin State Fair. Arndt Trucking of Janesville hauled 27 head of cattle for 15 kids.
Festivals: It was discussed that Roscoe Fall Festival attendance was down and so was the Flea Market. It was reported they ran out of ice cream at the Fall National Tractor Pull.
The trailer is stored at Digman’s for the winter and the Green County Fair Grounds for the summer. A motion to donate $500 to the Green County Fairgrounds for storage of the trailer was made by Bonnie Gerner and seconded by Jeff Ditzenberger. Motion carried. A motion to pay $600 to the Digman’s for storage of the trailer was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Julene Elmer. Motion carried. After January 1 2016, the Green County Ag Chest will no longer rent out tables.
2016 Breakfast on the Farm: Wayne and Tammy Jeglum will donate hogs. Craig Kamholz will meet with the Green County Sheriff’s Department in regards to parking and transportation. Kiel Electric will be the electrician for 2016. The board discussed buying bagged eggs verses cracking eggs.
Craig Kamholz reported there are 20 plat books left. When we get down to 5 books, Craig will order another 100. A motion to present Clare Gietzel and Marvin Becker appreciation gifts for their contributions for the Ag Chest was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Julene Elmer. Motion carried.
The positions of president, secretary and a board member are up for election this November. The next meeting will be November 30 at the Justice Center.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Jeff Ditzenberger and seconded by Judy Gill. Motion carried.
